PEK is owned and distributed by Morliny Foods Ltd - the world’s largest pork processor. The PEK brand is all about simple, tasty and enjoyable food.
PEK canned meats have been a store cupboard essential in the UK for over 40 years. Our high quality, great tasting tinned meats can be stored at room temperature for months while the seal is intact. Once opened, the contents should be stored in a sealable container in the fridge and eaten within two days.
In 2021, we worked out a new approach to packaging our products. The new process has reduced our use of plastic by a massive 3.6 tonnes per year. We’re delighted to have demonstrated our ecological commitment by removing this much plastic from the waste economy and we’re looking at further ways to improve.
Canned PEK products do not contain any Mechanically Separated Meat (MSM)
